Carolina Wren (Thryothorus ludovicianus)
Predominantly brown and buff with a short tail and found in vines and woodlands in rural and suburban settings. Nests in twigs, moss, and rootlets in natural cavities and in birdhouses. Is attracted to feeders containing suet and hulled sunflower seeds. Six inches in length. Weight, 0.7 ounces.
