Summer Tanager - Female (Piranga rubra)
Yellowish lowers, slightly darker above.  Found in pine oak woods, willows, and cottonwoods along streams.  Will nest in weeds, bark and coarse grasses placed on horizontal branches of trees.  Is attracted to feeders containing fruit, bread crumbs, and suet.  Will also come to birdbaths for drinking and bathing.  Seven and one-half  inches in length.  Weight, 1.0 ounce.
