Chipping Sparrow (Spizella passerina)
Known primarily by its gray breast and bright reddish-brown crown and black eye line. Prefers nesting on horsehair and grasses on tree branches. Will feed on mixed seed or hulled sunflower on the ground and from feeders. Five and one-half inches in length. Weight, 0.7 ounces.
