Sharp Shinned Hawk (Accipiter straitus)
General adult colors include blue-gray upper, lighter below with reddish brown barring. Found in various wooded areas and in proximity to feeders. Will nest on sticks and bark. The species is known to prey on birds near feeders and in brush. Length is 11 inches. Weight, 3.6 ounces.
