Indigo Bunting (Passerina cyanea)
Found in brush, low trees, and over grown fields. Will nest in dead leaves, weed stems, and grasses in trees. Is attracted to scattered millet on the ground and from feeders in spring and fall. Male displays deep blue overall appearance, Winter colors generally brownish and resembling the female of the species. Length is 5.5 inches. Weight, 0.5 ounce.
